the world appeal to the masses. A runner
is as likely to wear Nike as is a basketball
player. A CrossFit enthusiast can be seen
in Under Armour, but the retailer makes
products for golfers, too.
There is room in the market to target
sports with a range of apparel that can be
worn both in and out of the game. There's
also an opportunity to target a specific
demographic. It's not unusual to see a
15-year-old in Los Angeles wearing Adidas
or a 75-year-old in Calgary.
H-Cross Activewear INC. is designed to
appeal to an audience in the same cohort
as the company's inspiration, a 10-year-old
whose number one passion is soccer.
