The Road
Travel is an essential way for humans to
feel connected to the world at large. Travel
literature is a means to share this bond
and abate the sense of isolation that often
surfaces on the road.
Often, because of its solitary nature, travel writing is introspective and self-absorbed. Other reportage, meanwhile, fails to be more than a packaged highlight reel of attractions.
The Road aims to harness a spirit of adventure through stunning imagery and engaging storytelling that is lead by compelling characters, challenges conventional thought and captures meaningful exchanges with other cultures.
